It was a department doing a lot of hand reconstruction, free flaps, microvascular surgery and was one of the few hospitals in India recognized to conduct a 6-year course to get DNB plastic surgery after undergraduation.
2004-2007 junior consultant at Lourdes Mission Hospital, Kochi, Kerala 850 bedded hospital doing a lot of work on cancer surgeries especially thyroid surgeries, neck dissection, breast cancer surgeries with TRAM flap reconstruction. Headed by Dr Santhosh John Abraham who went on to become National President of Association of Surgeons of India. The centre was considered one of the busiest general surgery hospitals in Kerala operating cases whole days for 5 days a week.
2007-2008 junior consultant at Maulana Hospital, Perithalmanna one of the pioneer hospitals in laparoscopic surgery doing a very high volume of advanced laparoscopic work including laparoscopic cancer surgeries, bariatric surgery, stapler hemorrhoid plexy, TEP repair of inguinal hernia. Headed by Dr Muhammad Ismail, one of the doyens of laparoscopic surgery.
2008-2013-worked independently as consultant surgeon at Royal Hospital, Kunnamkulam doing all varieties of laparoscopic, general surgery and trauma work, General secretary of Indian Medical Association, Kunnamkulam branch in 2011.
2013-2020 - Specialist General Surgeon at NMC speciality hospital Al Ain doing independent surgical work.
2020-2024 Specialist General Surgeon at Al Farabi Medical Center and was attached to NMC hospital for major surgeries.
